The American Intellectual Property Law Association (AIPLA) will be sponsoring two upcoming Patent Cooperation Treaty (PCT) Seminars. This can be a great opportunity for patent attorneys to learn more about what is now deemed the worldwide standard for foreign filing patent applications. This program will explain the necessary steps involved in filing a PCT application, including electronically filing one, as well as addressing how to correctly select what Receiving Office and Search and Examination Authority to use. The two seminars will both take place in July 2008. The New York, New York Seminar takes place July 10 – 11 and the Denver, Colorado seminar takes place July 14 – 15. The cost for AIPLA Members will be $595, while non-Members will have to pay $885. For additional information, please contact the AIPLA headquarters at 703-415-0780.
